GuardGate exists to clean up security industry compliance. Too many companies cut corners on vetting because the process is broken - manual, slow, and easy to get wrong. We're fixing that with technology that makes doing it properly faster than doing it badly.
Our mission
The security industry protects people, property, and public safety. But the systems used to vet and onboard guards haven't kept pace. Paper files, spreadsheets, and personal WhatsApp messages aren't good enough when the stakes are this high. GuardGate is building the infrastructure the industry needs - one that makes compliance the path of least resistance, not an afterthought.
The story
GuardGate was born from a simple observation: security companies want to do vetting properly, but the tools available make it painfully slow. The result is shortcuts, missed checks, and audit failures that cost contracts and put people at risk.
We partnered with senior figures in the UK security industry - people who have spent decades in frontline operations, law enforcement, and industry governance - to build a platform that reflects how security operations actually work.
The result is a system where BS7858 compliance happens as part of the workflow, not despite it. Where every chase is auditable, every gap is visible, and every guard has a complete record before they're deployed.
